If you want to select any stage in the game to go to automatically, insert the following password after selecting how many players you want to play with: A, A, A, A, B, B, B, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B. If inserted properly, a tone will play, and you'll then have to do some extra work to select the stage itself.

Allow us to explain the table below. You'll need to have both the first and second controllers plugged in. After inserting the code above and hearing the tone, finish the code by pushing the buttons below for the corresponding stage. (1) in parenthesis indicates this is to be done on the first controller, while (2) in parenthesis will indicate finishing the code on the second controller. After "finishing" the code sequence, you should then press Start on the first controller. If done properly, you'll be whisked away to the stage of your choosing.

If you want to unlock the game's Sound Test, insert the following password after selecting how many players you want to play with: A, A, A, A, B, B, B, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B. Then, on the second controller, press down. Follow this by pressing Start. If done properly, your character(s) will be invincible.

If you want to unlock the game's Sound Test, insert the following password after selecting how many players you want to play with: A, A, A, A, B, B, B, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B. Then, on the first controller, hold down A and B at the same time, and do the same on the second controller. While holding the buttons down, press Start. If done properly, the Sound Test will be unlocked.

Shadow of the Ninja Hint: Ultimate Attack

If you find yourself in trouble and can't defeat all of the enemies on the screen, press and hold the B button. After holding it for several seconds, a super attack will be unleashed that will help you eliminate the enemy threat on the screen. However, doing this will hurt you a little bit, as well, so only use it if things are truly dire.
