R-Types Cheats
R-Types Level Select
Highlight either the "R-Type" or "R-Type II" options at the title screen. Quickly press L2(10), R2(10). Begin game play and press Start to access any level or view the FMV sequences.
R-Types Slower Flight
To slow your ship movement, pause the game then hold L2 and press Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Down, Left, X.
R-Types Faster Ship
To speed-up your ship, pause the game then hold L2 and press Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Down, Left, Circle.
R-Types Maximize your weapon
While playing, pause, hold L2 and hit Right, Up, Left, Right, Down, Left,Up, Right and hit either Triangle, Square, Circle, X or R1 for a laser bomb. You shouldbe able to hear a sound to confirm if you did it correct.
